The Russian office of Ivoclar Vivadent was one of the first projects with working space interior for our design-studio. Now we can say that it was exemplary in many aspects. Ivoclar Vivadent is a famous Swiss brand of innovational materials and orthodontic systems for dentists and dental mechanics. The company is 95, and it has more than 100 offices globally. Their basic values are high standards and ideal and precise business-processes. Our mutual work turned to be very convenient.
The Moscow office of Ivoclar Vivadent is almost 1000 square meters in A Class business-center where we elegantly and naturally placed a prosthodontic laboratory, an auditorium for lecturing, a conference room, a back-office open space, a kitchen, a coffee-point, a reception desk along with welcome area and even provided some space for a small exhibition. There are only necessary and functional things, though due to elaborated details the office interior was not made impersonal, grey and dull, but rather unique, with its own features. White was chosen as a basic color of interior, which, on the one side, is associated with cleanness and sterility of medical departments and, on the other, may be intimidating because of its colorlessness and coldness.
This is why we decided to add some bright colors and juicy details: green broken lines of various textures are extended along the wall and furniture, continuing their flow on the floor to be reflected in the shapes of ceiling lamps. Yellow and wooden screens on the tables revive the open space, and the glass walls in the conference room and in the kitchen make the office look more open and friendly.
